Quick answer: Coaches and volunteers who work with young people in Ohio are often required to complete fingerprint background checks by their school, league or organization.
Who Usually Needs a Check
School coaches, volunteer coaches, youth ministry leaders, scout leaders and camp staff are commonly asked to complete background checks before working with children.
Get the Right Code
The school or organization should provide the reason code and where to send results. Ask for this before your appointment so you only need to come in once.
